Remember the role-players. They knew their roll and they played their roll.
- Who is our enforcer?
- Is Jones really a power forward?
- Do we have an “in front of the net” guy?
- How many parameter playmakers do we need?
Speed kills but it doesn’t win battles in the corners.
I love Hejduk, but he’s a winning teams captain. I’m not sure he’s the grizzled vertin the Avs need mentoring the younger guys.
